Al Barakeh Review

@bestspots.com.au For the Best Garlic Sauce Ever ⬇️⁣ ⁣ Al Barakeh is a casual eatery, is known for its delicious charcoal chicken 🍗 and is perfect for a laid-back dining experience 🤗. The restaurant offers ample seating and maintains a welcoming dining atmosphere after renovating ✨. I also recommend trying their burgers! 🍔⁣ ⁣ Al Barakeh is far more than your average charcoal chicken joint; it's one that's been around for over a decade 📆. While the charcoal chicken can be slightly overdone (over charcoal) sometimes, the garlic sauce has remained consistently outstanding 😁 and one I consider the best around Sydney 👌⁣ ⁣ 🔥 RECOMMENDED 🔥 ⁣ - Garlic sauce, and lots of it⁣ - Charcoal Chicken⁣ - Lamburghini Burger⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 📗 Get the full serving at bestspots.com.au⁣ ⁣ #charcoalchicken #liverpooleats #liverpoolrestaurants #garlicsauce #liverpoolfood ♬ Fern - aleksiah

For an unbeatable charcoal chicken experience, Al Barakeh truly shines, especially with its unrivalled garlic sauce, which I consider the best around Sydney. While street parking is somewhat limited, its proximity to Liverpool station makes it easily accessible. The restaurant has undergone renovations, providing plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere for casual dining. Open till 10pm daily, it's a terrific spot for a simple meal where the joy of eating with your hands is part of the experience.

But Al Barakeh isn't just about charcoal chicken. If you want something different, their menu features appealing burgers with chicken, beef, and lamb options. Alongside these, you'll find a range of kebabs, skewers, felafel, and a whole heap of drinks, adding to the restaurant's menu diversity.

Charcoal Chicken Delights That's Speedy

The service at Al Barakeh is fast and easy, matching the restaurant's casual atmosphere. With their renovated space, the dining experience is comforting, with lots of seating. It's ideal when dropping by for a quick bite or settling in for a casual meal with a friend.

Whole Charcoal Chicken

Their charcoal chicken is usually a delight to devour. Not only is it succulent, it's infused with just the right amount of smokiness. On rare occasions, it can be over-charcoaled, but generally, it's a chicken with robust flavours, juiciness and a charcoal undertone. When dining in, it generally comes with small garlic sauce and pickles to accompany it.

The Lamburghini

Lamb patty, fig & date chutney, blue cheese & sweet yoghurt sauce

This lamb burger is an ingenious creation. The lamb patty is thick, juicy and flavourful and is complemented by the unique blend of fig and date chutney, blue cheese that isn't too strong, and a sweet yoghurt sauce. A harmonious mix of flavours, not found elsewhere, truly sets this burger apart.

Garlic Sauce

The garlic sauce here is simply unparalleled. Creamy, rich, and packed with the right amount of garlic punch without being overpowering. It's the perfect dip to go with the charcoal chicken, allowing you to douse each bite to a new level of enjoyment. My guilty pleasure is that I can eat this garlic sauce by itself!

RECOMMENDED

  • Garlic sauce, and lots of it
  • Charcoal Chicken
  • Lamburghini Burger

Final Words

Al Barakeh is a must-visit for anyone in the Liverpool area looking for delicious, casual dining or feeling up for chicken. Their unmatched garlic sauce, solid charcoal chicken, and unique burger offerings stand out in the Liverpool food scene. It's where chicken and burgers meet a flavour uplift, creating a super laid-back yet satisfying dining experience.
