TL; DR | Summary

Pizza Bros brings rooftop vibes to The Imperial Hotel in Erskineville

Some pizzas are a hit, some a miss - but the best ones are worth the trip

Watch your wood-fired pizza made fresh, right before your eyes

Pizza Bros Review

The Pizza Bros is located on the rooftop of The Imperial Hotel in Erskineville and offers a casual dining experience.

You can order pizzas alongside items from the hotel's main menu, making it a versatile spot for a laid-back meal at the pub.

For the foodies out there, you can watch the pizza dough kneaded and topped right in front of you! And even better, there's a wood-fired oven, so you know your pizza will be fresh and packed with that charcoal flame goodness we all know and love.

The upstairs dining space consists of round tables with stools and umbrellas, establishing a relaxed environment to hang around with good company over pizzas and beer.

Their menu has plenty of intriguing pizza options, including a pizza called "Rick and Morty", so you'll have fun working your way through it.

It's a bit of a hit or miss, with some pizzas turning out great and others not. But once you find go-to pizzas, you'll definitely want to return for a second or third helping.

The Pizza Bros pizzas are priced between $24 and $28, with the option to go gluten-free for an extra $7. Plus, there are vegan pizzas available and the special vegetarian pizza is rotated fortnightly, so your plant-based friends don't have to miss out.

They're also great for takeaway.

The Pizza Bros Menu & Experience

You can really tell the brothers are passionate about their craft. Watching them work is like seeing true pizza enthusiasts in action. They're fully immersed in every step, from kneading the dough to adding the toppings with generosity and precision.

It's clear they enjoy what they do, and that energy translates into the quality of the pizzas they create, as you'll see below:

Margo Picasso Pizza

Fior di latte, spotted pomodoro, sugo, confit garlic, and basil.

The Margo Picasso is loaded with good ingredients and delivers on flavour. I definitely have no complaints here!

Cacio e Pepe Pizza

Fior di latte, double cream, black truffle, pecorino, and parmesan.

If you're a cheese lover, this is the pizza for you. It's rich and indulgent, perfect for when you want a load of oozing cheese.

Joey Pepperoni Pizza

Fior di latte, pomodoro sugo, pepperoni, and oregano.

This one's for pepperoni fans, like me. It's a levelled-up version with higher-quality cheese, making it a go-to for satisfying pepperoni pizza.

Quality Beast Pizza

Fior di latte, pomodoro sugo, red onion, LP's salami cotto, and Whole Beast Butchery salsicce.

This was a solid choice with a nice balance of ingredients. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Rick & Morty Pizza

Fior di latte, garlic oil, LP's mortadella, and pesto.

As much as I love the show, I do not like this pizza. I wouldn't order this again because the massive mortadella slices threw off the balance.

RECOMMENDED

  • Margo Picasso pizza
  • Cacio e Pepe pizza
  • Joey Pepperoni pizza
  • Quality Beast pizza

Final Words

Pizza Bros is a place where you can expect freshly made pizzas and is a fantastic place for casual bites, especially if you love that wood-fired flavour.

While not every pizza will knock your socks off, you'll be craving more once you find your favourites.
